Joining Guided Feather
Who can join Guided Feather?
Guided Feather welcomes a wide range of spiritual practitioners, including tarot readers, mediums, psychics, Reiki practitioners, energy healers, astrologers, spiritual coaches, crystal healers and other complimentary spiritual service providers.
Is there a cost to join?
Creating an account is free. Practitioners only pay commission when they receive bookings through the platform.
Do I need insurance?
Insurance is recommended, particularly for services such as Reiki, energy healing and coaching. Practitioners are responsible for ensuring they have any insurance or qualifications required for the services they offer.
Can I offer more than one type of service?
Absolutely. You can offer multiple services all within the same listing, to showcase the different services you offer.
Can I join if I already have an existing business?
Yes. Guided Feather is designed to help practitioners reach new clients alongside their existing business, website or social media presence.
Set Up Your Account
How do I set up my profile?
Once you have created your practitioner account, you'll be able to build your profile, add information about yourself and create listings for the services you wish to offer.
Are there any instructions available?
Yes. We strongly recommend watching the setup videos before creating your profile and listings. They will guide you through the process step-by-step and answer many common questions. The tutorial videos can be found HERE.
Why does my account need approval?
Practitioner accounts are approved manually to help maintain quality and ensure only genuine practitioners are joining the platform.
Bookings & Payments
How do clients book?
Customers can browse practitioner profiles, select a service and book directly through the platform.
How do I get paid?
Payments are processed securely through Stripe Connect and transferred directly to your connected account according to Stripe's payout schedule.
Can I receive payouts into my Monzo account?
Yes. While payments are processed through Stripe, payouts can be transferred directly into your chosen bank account, including Monzo Business accounts.
Do practitioners pay Stripe fees?
No. Guided Feather absorbs Stripe processing costs as part of operating the platform, so practitioners do not pay separate Stripe fees.
What commission does Guided Feather charge?
Guided Feather charges commission only when you receive a booking through the platform.
To help you get established on Guided Feather, you'll pay an introductory commission rate of just 5% until 28 August 2026. After this period, a standard commission rate of 17% will apply.
There are no joining fees, subscription fees or monthly charges. You only pay commission when you earn from bookings made through Guided Feather.
Why does Guided Feather charge commission?
The commission helps cover the costs of running and growing the platform, including website maintenance, payment processing, customer support, marketing and ongoing development. This allows Guided Feather to continue attracting new customers and supporting practitioners long term.
Can I offer online sessions?
Yes. Currently, Guided Feather only supports online services.
Do I need a Zoom account?
No. Guided Feather provides the meeting links required for online sessions.
Can I offer workshops and group events?
Yes. Guided Feather supports both one-to-one sessions and group workshops.
Launch Questions
How do clients find us?
Guided Feather is already being promoted through social media, online advertising and search engine optimisation. We are also building a mailing list of potential customers ahead of launch and will increase marketing activity further once the platform goes live.
Can I still join as a launch member?
Launch member places have now closed, but you can still apply to be on the site and take advantage of our introductory offer.
New practitioners joining Guided Feather will receive an introductory commission rate of 5% for their first two months, followed by our standard commission rate of 15%.
