Hi, I'm Jan, founder of The Rune & Rose Sanctuary, a space where spirituality, personal growth and wellbeing come together.
I've always been passionate about helping people feel more connected to themselves, find clarity when they feel stuck, and create positive change in their lives. My approach is warm, intuitive and completely non-judgemental โ there's no expectation to have everything figured out before you come to me.
I'm a qualified Mindset Coach, Level 3 Reiki Practitioner, Certified Intuitive Tarot & Oracle Card Reader, and I'm accredited in Rune Divination & Magick, working with both traditional Elder Futhark Runes and Witch Runes.
Through The Rune & Rose Sanctuary, I offer intuitive readings, Reiki and mindset support, adapting my approach to the individual rather than believing that one method suits everybody.
My readings aren't about telling you what you must do or presenting the future as fixed. I use the cards and runes as tools for insight, reflection and guidance โ helping you explore situations from another perspective and connect more deeply with your own intuition.
Likewise, my Reiki and coaching work is centred around creating a supportive space where you can slow down, reconnect with yourself and explore what you need to move forward.
I'm also a lifelong learner (possibly an overly enthusiastic one ๐), and I'm continually developing my knowledge and practice, so The Rune & Rose Sanctuary will continue to grow alongside me.
Whether you've come looking for guidance, personal growth, a moment of calm, or you're simply curious about what a reading might bring forward for you, you're very welcome here.

A deeper, more layered intuitive reading combining Runes with Tarot or Oracle.
Your reading is guided intuitively on the day and may combine Elder Futhark or Witch Runes with Tarot or Oracle, depending on what feels most appropriate for your reading.
There is no fixed spread or set number of Runes and cards. I allow the reading to unfold naturally, paying attention to positioning, connections between the symbols and cards, and the overall message that emerges.
This reading is ideal if you would like a more in-depth perspective, want to explore your situation from different angles, or simply canโt decide between Runes and cards. ๐น
A year can hold an incredible amount of change, growth and possibility.
Your 12-Month Pathway offers a deeper month-by-month journey through the year ahead, exploring the themes and energies surrounding each stage of your path.
We'll look at potential opportunities, areas that may require a little more awareness, periods of growth or reflection, and the guidance the cards offer as you move through the coming twelve months.
Designed to be something you can return to throughout the year, this reading gives you a wider view of the path ahead without suggesting that your future is set in stone.
The cards may illuminate the path โ but you remain the one walking it.
Choose your way: Your reading can be performed using either Tarot or Oracle cards. Choose whichever you're naturally drawn towards, or leave the decision with me and I'll intuitively select the deck that feels right for you. ๐น
Mini and Full Readings will normally be delivered within 24 hours, while the more in-depth 12-Month Annual Insight will be delivered within 48 hours. Your completed reading will then be sent directly to you by email.
Wondering what the next chapter might hold?
Your 6-Month Pathway takes a deeper look at the coming six months, exploring the themes, opportunities, challenges and energies that may be unfolding around you.
We'll move through each month individually, giving you insight into what may deserve your attention and guidance to carry forward as you navigate the months ahead.
This isn't a prediction of a future that's already been decided. Think of it instead as a map of the landscape ahead โ helping you recognise possibilities while remembering that you always choose the direction you take.
Choose your way: Your reading can be performed using either Tarot or Oracle cards. Let me know your preference when booking, or leave the choice with me and I'll intuitively select the deck for your reading. ๐น

Your 12-Month Elder Futhark Insight offers a deeper look at the journey ahead through the wisdom and symbolism of the traditional Elder Futhark Runes.
We'll explore the coming twelve months individually, revealing the Rune energy associated with each stage of your year and considering the themes, opportunities, challenges or lessons it may bring into focus.
Together, the twelve months create a wider picture of your year while still giving you individual insights that you can return to month after month.
This isn't about declaring exactly what will happen. Your choices, circumstances and actions continually shape your path. Instead, consider your annual Rune insight a companion for the journey โ something to reflect upon as your year unfolds.
The Runes may show the landscape ahead. You remain the one choosing the path through it. แฑ๐น

For times when you want to explore beyond a single question, your Full Elder Futhark Reading offers a deeper look at the landscape surrounding you.
Using the traditional 24 Elder Futhark Runes, we'll explore the patterns, influences and energies currently present in your life โ including potential obstacles, opportunities, underlying themes and guidance for the path ahead.
The individual Runes are interpreted not only for their own meanings, but also through the story they create together, allowing a richer picture to emerge from your reading.
Ideal for periods of change, important decisions, personal reflection or those moments when you simply know you need some guidance but aren't quite sure what to ask.
Ancient symbols. Modern questions. Guidance for the path that's yours to choose. ๐น
๐ Written/Email Readings
For written/email readings, you don't need to be available at a particular time. Once your booking and question (if applicable) have been received, I'll personally carry out your reading in a quiet, dedicated space and take the time to fully interpret the messages and connections that come forward before preparing your written reading for you.

Perfect when you have something specific you'd like guidance around, or when you simply feel drawn to receiving a message.
This isn't about predicting a fixed future. The Runes offer guidance and perspective, while your choices and path remain entirely your own. ๐น

Your 12-Month Witch Rune Insight takes you on a journey through the energies surrounding the year ahead.
Using the Witch Runes, we'll explore each month individually, looking at the themes, influences, opportunities and areas of awareness that may accompany you as the year unfolds.
Rather than treating the future as something already decided, your annual insight acts as a guide you can return to throughout the year โ helping you recognise changing energies and reflect on how they relate to what's happening in your life.
A beautiful choice at the beginning of a new year, birthday or personal chapter โ or simply whenever you feel ready to look ahead.
Your path isn't written in stone. The Runes simply help illuminate what may lie along the way. ๐น

Once your booking and question (if you have one) are received, I'll personally carry out your reading in private and prepare your interpretation for you. Using the Witch Runes, we'll explore the energies currently influencing your path, what may be sitting beneath the surface, potential challenges or opportunities and the guidance the Runes have to offer.
Rather than focusing on one quick answer, this reading allows the story within the Runes to unfold and gives us space to explore the connections between the symbols that appear.
Ideal when you're at a crossroads, moving through change, seeking clarity or simply wondering what the Runes want you to know right now.
The Runes illuminate possibilities โ you decide what you do with their guidance. ๐น

My sessions are centred around three things: Guidance, Healing & Growth.
๐ฎ Witch Rune Reading
Witch Runes offer a simple but wonderfully intuitive way to explore a question, situation or the energy surrounding you. During your reading, I will cast the runes specifically for you and interpret the individual symbols, their positions and, most importantly, how they interact with one another. You can come with a particular question or simply ask what you need to know right now. Your reading is designed to offer guidance, reflection and a fresh perspective rather than tell you what you must do.
แ Elder Futhark Rune Reading
Working with the traditional 24-rune Elder Futhark system, this reading offers a deeper exploration of the influences, challenges, opportunities and potential direction surrounding your situation. I will cast and intuitively interpret your runes, looking at both their traditional meanings and the story they create together. You may bring a specific question or choose a general reading if you'd simply like to see what comes forward for you.
๐ Oracle Card Reading
Oracle readings are gentle, intuitive and perfect if you're looking for insight, encouragement or another perspective on something happening in your life. I'll select your cards intuitively and explore their imagery, symbolism and messages, as well as the connections between them. You can ask a particular question or simply ask, โWhat do I need to know right now?โ
๐ฎ Tarot Reading
Tarot offers a more structured and detailed exploration of a situation. During your reading, I'll work with the cards to explore the energies and influences surrounding your question, what may be helping or challenging you, and potential directions moving forward. Tarot doesn't dictate a fixed future โ I see it as a tool for insight, reflection and helping you make your own informed choices.
๐ Reiki Session
Your Reiki session is dedicated time to slow down, switch off and simply receive. You'll be invited to get comfortable while I work through the session, allowing you space to relax and reconnect with yourself without needing to do anything. Reiki is a complementary wellbeing practice and experiences vary from person to person โ some people notice warmth, tingling or deep relaxation, while others simply enjoy the opportunity to be still. No particular experience is expected or required.
๐ฑ Mindset & Spiritual Coaching
This is a supportive, non-judgemental space to explore where you are now, where you'd like to be and what may be getting in the way. Depending on what you bring to the session, we might explore confidence, self-belief, limiting beliefs, habits, goals, personal growth or feeling stuck. If spirituality is important to you, we can incorporate that into our work too. You won't be told how to live your life โ my role is to help you explore, question, recognise patterns and discover the way forward that feels right for you.
๐ Written/Email Readings
For written readings, you don't need to be available at a particular time. Once your booking and question (if you have one) are received, I'll personally carry out your reading in private and prepare your interpretation for you. This gives me time to sit with your cards or runes and explore the messages and connections that come forward before delivering your completed reading to you by email within the stated timeframe.
Mini and Full Readings will normally be delivered within 24 hours, while the more in-depth 12-Month Annual Insight will be delivered within 48 hours. Your completed reading will then be sent directly to you by email.
